HISTORY
Treasure Valley Christian School began in 1976 with a kindergarten class only. The present building was completed and occupied by a first and second grade class in the Fall of 1985. By adding new grades each year, we are pleased in accomplishing our goal of providing Christian education for Pre-K through the 8th grade.

TVCS is an inter-denominational school. Since its origin, the school has operated under the sponsorship and general guidance of Treasure Valley Baptist Church.

VISION
The reason we exist is to serve Jesus Christ by developing the whole person to impact the world for Him.

Vision statement explained: The implementation of a Christian philosophy of education requires a vision that focuses the entire educational program, guiding and directing everything that TVCS does.

MISSION

We develop the whole person by providing a Christian education

shepherding students as we challenge them to achieve their fullest potential

spiritually, academically, socially, physically, and relationally.

Mission statement explained: The mission of TVCS is the implementation of the vision, the more tightly focused purpose. Vision gives us the big picture, the “why we do what we do”, and the mission gives us the more specific direction on how to carry out the vision, or, the “how we do what we do.”

Teachers at TVCS are born again Christians.
